A Day Out to the Waterfalls…
We went for a drive in the country to what are supposed to be impressive waterfalls, here are the pictures we took on my camera. Sudhi, Sesh and me all went one sunny Sunday afternoon in Sudhi’s car. Sesh is a friend of Sudhi, and I used to work with him back in 2003/4.
I have included all the photos from my camera for the day for completeness. Some are better than others!
You can click on the images to open the full image in a new screen. Please note that the full images are about 1Mb in size and will take a while to download on a dial up connection!
Buying tender coconuts by the side of the road for a drink…
…and a snack! (Sesh on the left, Sudhi on the right)
It looks so peaceful after being in the city
Proof that Indian cars have wing mirrors!
Tracking down Kanada speaking aliens!
We are definitely out of the city!
Checking for silk worm fatalities after archery practice!
…not much in that direction either!
Taking the old cow for a walk!
Threshing, Indian style! (Yes, it’s in the road to be driven over)
Doing my bit for the Indian harvest!
Is this the right road? Anyone seen a signpost?
There’s an elephant behind a bush just left from centre (only joking!)
Sesh and Sudhi going for a stroll
That’s a tree!
There is supposed to be a river around here somewhere…
..there are a couple of puddles…
..and a trickle of a stream…
…slightly more water now
maybe this path will lead to an impressive waterfall?
OK, use your imagination now, imagine it’s the wet season!
At least it’s a nice day!
That waterfall must be all of 6′ high!
